DUO VALENTINE & GABRIEL MICHAUD, saxophones & percussions
Brother and sister, Gabriel and Valentine have always played together; however, it is in 2022 that they officially launch a duo of saxophones and percussion to defend a wide repertoire ranging from creation (commissions of works from Raphaël Sévère, Gabriel Michaud, Kévin Juillerat, Corentin Apparailly, Gabriel Michaud) to transcriptions of classical, baroque, jazz or even pop works. Together, they have toured in already France, Switzerland, Holland, Poland and Japan with their two first programs “Journey to the end of the Night” and “Birds of Paradise”. In 2024, they will make their debut as co-soloists with the Orchestre de la Suisse Romande under the baton of Jonathan Nott playing “PANIC” by Harrison Birtwistle and “Escapades” by John Williams.
Their first album OISEAUX DE PARADIS is now available on Mirare Records!
